Progress is slower than I had hoped. I have given myself credit for Fox-1A, 1B, 1C and 1D, as well as FalconSat-3. I have also successfully decoded GMSK from both CAS-4A and CAS-4B. So that puts me at 8 spacecraft decoded. But it is May already and I have an automated system for 5 of them. So I have only decoded 3. Oops. The year is getting away from me. I need to make better progress or automate a few things.
I can easily decode some of the Funcube spacecraft because I have an automated system for them too. I'd like to start sending data to their dashboard on a continuous basis again too. So I may set that up next.
I have also had a couple of attempts to decode XW-2A but it appears to be hard. It is transmitting 19k2 baud FSK AX25 data that should decode with the hs_soundmodem FSK G3RUM 19k2 decoder. But it does not. It's possible that I need a really strong signal, but I had an excellent pass yesterday and I am pointing a 4 element yagi with a mast head preamp at it. It should decode. Given it did not I am either making a mistake in the decoding process, I had too much local noise, too weak a signal or the spacecraft is rotating quickly and I am failing to decode across the nulls of the antenna. Quite a few variables to deal with.
